One of the newer additions to the city’s restaurant scene, this tapas/wine bar/lounge on the Ironbound’s main drag is a casual, hip alternative to the city’s more formal dining rooms. The brick-walled restaurant, named for Catalan composer Federico Mompou, features tapas, sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas and other items. Its distinctive atmosphere and great Spanish cuisine make the storefront a standout.
